USF's really becoming a residential school isn't it? No more Drive Thru U reputation?

It doesn't hurt that its mandatory freshman live on campus.

 

 

Even for students over traditional age? That seems weird.

 

 

It doesn't apply to all freshmen.  If your home of record is within a certain distance from campus, you don't have to live on campus.  There may be other exceptions.

The Mandatory Freshman rule was made to help with the AAU requirement of the university having a residential campus. 

And yes there are exceptions:

 

The student will reach the age of 21 prior to the first day of classes of their first term of enrollment

The student is married

The student has dependent family (children or parents) under the student’s care

The student resides in the principal residence of a parent or legal guardian within the counties of Hillsborough, Pasco, or Pinellas.

Fontana is gone.  Knocked down and new private apts built on the site.  The space ship building being finished at Fl. Poly...USF should hijack it and fly it over to USF Tampa campus.
