Canales is weak anyways...

i was a proponent of going outside of the program to get our OC. Our system is still the same as always... nothing new in the playbook at all.

leavitt doesnt hire proven winners

and/or strong ego types

this is the same **** as Pitt...

they were something like 23rd against the run and 72nd against the pass going into our game, and Chico throws the ball 8 times.

even before BJ's first pick, we weren't passing the ball.

the fact of the matter is we have to let BJ loose.  we MUST use his arm.  we MUST let him play his game.

if we pull back on him now for fear of INTs [his ratio is no worse than Grothe's], the kid will regress and this season will be ENTIRELY lost because we will have deprived BJ of this learning experience.

win or lose, we need to let BJ continue to learn.

how many times do we have 3,4 and 5 wr sets?  we are trying to fool otherside into thinking we are passing

I figured.  But it's true.  BJ has shown that he can win games by himself.

He has??? when in high school.....and Don't diss Chico if you don't know whats going on......

Yeah, but Smazza doesn't let facts get in the way of his opinions.

If we lose and don't develop BJ this is a wasteful season. If we win and he doesn't develop - not bad. If we lose and he develops - not bad.

Losing and not developing the kid is like dying twice.

I'd settle for developing him, beating Miami and getting to 4-3 in the conference.

Smashing success considering what we're dealing with.  I might even settle for 2 out of 3.  :)
