I know we still have a few weeks before this game and we have to beat Syracuse but assuming that does happen I wonder if a buzz can be created for our Thursday night game with Cincy on 10/15?

I looked at ticketmaster and 1 ticket puts you in the upper deck in section 336 so that is right about the 50 yard line on the East side. So basically all of both upper bowls are more or less available. Can somehow get it close to a sell out? We might as well take over this town for football because who wants to watch the Bucs?

I figure both teams should (knock on wood) be undefeated heading into that game. Both teams coming off a bye week, so we'll have to see where the polls but the teams.

If USF is ranked and Cincy is top 10, I think we could definitely be looking at 55,000+. Being a Thursday night makes me hesitant to book a 66,321 sellout.

A win over Syracuse would be a good start toward a strong crowd showing.  If both teams were ranked, that will add to the anticipation and we might actually get enough media hype to attract even the curious casual fans. Even if it is not sold out, it should be electric.  Cinci is the real deal and we need to show we are, too.

^^^  This

If we're both undefeated, I think it will max out our students but the school night is a killer for a large portion of the rest of the potential crowd ...

Sick days don't count against exams in Hillsborough county this year. Meaning they have to take them regardless. I'm taking mine Friday to Syracuse and she'll probably miss that Friday also. Of course that's only because she keeps her grades where they're supposed to be.

Would love to see a sellout, but I don't think we get there.

WVU and Miami should be sellouts though.

6,000 empty lower bowl seats for an ESPN Thurs night game against a top ten team, ya that sounds reasonable ::)
