Ok.... not trying to start a "we're better than the Gayturds" thread, but what can we take away from the teams who have played Charleston Southern in the first three weeks of the season?

Margin of victory was the same... 59 points.

The Turds scored 3 more points, but our defense didn't allow any points vs. Charleston Southern.

Any thoughts?

Any thoughts?

We both rolled them. That's all you can take from it. Margin of victory is pretty meaningless.

All I had to do is read the title of the thread and I knew where it was heading. Can't compare the two.

We played a glorified High school team.

Nothing to take from it.

there used to be a website-- maybe it still exists -- that would let you put in two teams and it would find a way to use transitive properties to show how that team could beat them.

so for the Gators-- that team would be Ole Miss (only team they've lost to in the last few years).

in other words-- you could in some cases find a 1-AA team that beat a 1-A that beat antoehr etc== and somehow arrive at the faulty conclusion that it was possible for some nobody to beat someone respectable.

so basically-- it means nothing, but hey-- thanks for reading this far

Of course it doesn't mean a thing, but it's fun to think about. Tell me similar thoughts didn't cross your mind at some time since the game, even if you didn't voice them.  I actually had this exact conversation with one of my tailgating buddies last night.

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
