"Everybody (the running backs) looked good today. We worked on fundamentals and things that we think will get our guys better. One of the things that we are stressing is getting the pads down when the backs are running. A lot of times we get players who come in here and don’t run with their pads down because when they are in high school they may be faster or more athletic than the players they are going against. But for the most part today was a good day for the backs.â€Read the Full Training Camp Report

Guest hm101
franks is right. its easy to look good on a practice field. at least more so than on the football field in october/november in front of 60k fans of your opponent, playing people who were also the best in their high schools. i think we have the tools though to make it out on top! I am happy with the potential of all 3 being healthy all season.

The days of the single back system is over.

What messes with me to no end is the 5 back system that USF has employed recently. That is not a recipe for success.
