We need to hit them hard with 14 points in the first quarter and make them go to the air and abandon the run.  Nate Allen will get a pick this week.

THE COIN TOSS!!!!!   Win the coin toss and get the ball first.  Score, stop 'em, then score again.  HEY HEY!!!!  They abandon the run to try to come back.  ???

Did you not watch their game yesterday? They didn't abandon the run and came back (mind you it was Syracuse)!

Double digit win vs Pitt on national TV and a week off after that will get our team into the Top 8 by the time for 'Cuse.  Beat 'Cuse by 17 or more...Top 5 is in the future.  FootBulls gotta take it a game at a time.  At Cinci & UL will not be walk in the park.

Make Pitt one dimensional.  Stop the run on 1st and 2nd downs and get after the QB on 3rd down.  That is the recipe for beating the Panthers.

Pitt's already one-dimensional. As long as that one dimension doesn't beat you, and your offense doesn't make 10,000 mistakes, Pitt is no threat.

Bulls win by ten.  Defense keeps rounding into shape.  Special teams creates a couple wtf moments.  Best spread offense in the country (I mean that) produces 400 yards like it's easy.

USF then heads into a much-deserved bye week. . . . . . Carolina Bull takes his kids to the zoo on 10/11/08.

wow..that's a bold statement....i still say texas tech and missouri are ahead of us

I watched Texas Tech against SMU and their passing game didn't impress me. I saw lots of time to throw and a lot of long heaves that better defenses won't allow.

Not that they won't win 8 games in the defensively-challenged Big XII. But Texas and Oklahoma are sure losses, and decent defenses like Kansas and Nebraska could be a problem.
