slick1ru2 Posted September 13, 2008 Group: Member Topic Count: 0 Content Count: 14,405 Reputation: 434 Days Won: 13 Joined: 07/25/2008 Share Posted September 13, 2008 I hate to state the obvious, but our defense was winded late in the game...There were a couple of times that we almost had 12 men on the field because they were just sluggish getting up off the ground and then off the field.Pretty normal with even an NFL level team due to the intensity of the game and the heat and humidity. The fact that they weren't dropping like flies (ie that Alabama Game years ago) from cramps and heat exhaustion is testament to their staying hydrated. Been saying it since I saw the footage of him from the Alabama scrimmage game and how much they raved about him. Talk to any bama fan and they'll tell you they were extremely high on Taylor. He's got speed, power and agility that no one else on this team has in abundance. In fact, he's easily a step above Ford. Ford is a good RB, but Taylor is "special" and if you gave him the ball 20-25 times a game, he'd be among the nation's leaders in rushing. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
