but yes, he got my vote for player of the game.  his running really opened our offense up.

I hate to state the obvious, but our defense was winded late in the game...There were a couple of times that we almost had 12 men on the field because they were just sluggish getting up off the ground and then off the field.

Pretty normal with even an NFL level team due to the intensity of the game and the heat and humidity. The fact that they weren't dropping like flies (ie that Alabama Game years ago) from cramps and heat exhaustion is testament to their staying hydrated.

Taylor and Mike Ford are NFL caliber backs in my opinion. I would like to see those 2 exclusively in the backfiled.

I've said it once and I'll keep saying it....

JAMAR TAYLOR IS THE BEST RUNNING BACK ON THE TEAM!!!!!!!!!

He is by far the best blacking back on the team. Who do you think was Chris Raineys' lead blocker for Lakeland???

Taylor is our best back.  Been saying it since I saw the footage of him from the Alabama scrimmage game and how much they raved about him.  Talk to any bama fan and they'll tell you they were extremely high on Taylor.  He's got speed, power and agility that no one else on this team has in abundance.  In fact, he's easily a step above Ford.  Ford is a good RB, but Taylor is "special" and if you gave him the ball 20-25 times a game, he'd be among the nation's leaders in rushing.
