With all the stuff spewed about CUSA's lack of strength by you guys, do you really think we would lose 5 in a row? I don't think we are going to pull a USF: Drop 3 easy ones after the game with the neighbor school.Hey, we lost to 3 bowl teams. Yes, we should of won them and saved some of the 64 we rolled up on you, but come on. Isn't the real argument against scheduling UCF over WKU (other than the middle finger JL loves to give GOL) timing? If we play at UCF on the road instead of WKU on the road in 2009 we would make back to back trips to the pan. Aren't you charging your own fans $10 more per ticket for the USF game? Playing USF alone generates you $450K more in ticket sales than a riveting home matchup against Rice. Also, you're losing another virtually guaranteed national broadcast each year because USF wants nothing to do with you. That's less exposure for a team that really needs some. USF will somehow have to skate by with only 45% of our games on National TV instead of 55... USF does not need UCF to be successful. Similarly, UCF does not need USF to be successful... but playing us sure helps elevate the visibility of your program. That's why Leavitt isn't doing it. Why give the enemy more $$$ and more exposure? Leavitt is one smart dude, and GOL is a fat bitter old man.

I know UCF did it last year for Texas but I've got no problem with that because it was the first game in the BHNFP but do other similar, smaller-type programs charge extra when a more prominent team comes in? Or do you actually believe that as USF begins to regularly sell out games the ticket prices won’t go up.The gators charge students for tickets... That must mean they are severely pathetic.
