If it is so easy, then why aren't there 2400 yard rushers every year?

If 2000 yards is such a difficult thing, why are there 2 in the same conference?

Was there really two 2000 yarders in CUSA?  Who was the other and how many carries did he have?

Rank        Player                       G Car   Net TD    Avg  Ydspgm

1. Kevin Smith, UCF                    13 415  2448 29   5.90  188.31

  2. Matt Forte, Tulane                  12 361  2127 23   5.89  177.25

UCF will be fine in CUSA.   If Tulane can find a back with similar yards per carry avg, then UCF can replace Smith for CUSA games.

Wasn't just Tulane with the similar ypc....

Anthony Alridge, Houston  6.17

Chris Johnson, East Caro.    6.03

Tarrion Adams, Tulsa          5.59

UCF will be fine.

Wow, CUSA defenses were horrible.

So was K Smith using 14 games to try to break what Barry did in 10 games?

I wonder if he'll change his mind again ..... The weak rb draft has gotten a lot more crowded.

Yeah this draft class is bonkers

McFadden, Jones, Hart, Rice, Charles, Stweart, Slaton, Davis, Johnson, Forte, Mendenhall.  If Smith runs a bad 40 he could slide into the second day.

If he gives a good work out at the combine he'll be fine. All those rushing yards look good despite the poor defenses and the 400 plus carries he had

I don't even know about that.  Quite a few of those backs i listed will have much better measurables than smith and will have played against better competition.  Not to mention guys like jones and mcfadden  prolly wont even have to work out to be selected ahead of smith.
