UCONN - hardest game this season.

This will be a dog fight IMO.

They are 6-1 (only lost was by 1 point to #18 Virginia) and they aren't ranked in the Top 25 in the coaches poll.

I'm sure they're angry (Rutgers too).

They are overrated and haven't played anyone worth a ****. We will steamroll them although the score will be much closer than the actual manhandling they will receive on Saturday.

The best team UConn has beaten is Louisville, who a) isn't that good and they needed that horrible, horrible non-fair catch call to help them beat.

they held Brohm to 228 yards passing, 1 TD and 2 picks... and Louisville as a whole to 321 yards of total offense, when they average nearly 500.

Louisville is not great, but their offense DOES put up bigtime points and rack up bigtime yardage, and UConn shut it down... and Virginia is a quality team, very underrated.  losing to them by 1 in Virginia is a tough, tough game.

Lorenzen is a decent QB who has the potential to gain a few yards on the ground, and Dixon isn't a slouch at RB... he can run and catch passes out of the backfield.

i know we have the talent to win going away, but we can't look at this game as a gimme.  they are the Big East leaders right now (2-0 in conference play)...  this game is a MUST win and our boys need to be highly motivated.

ps- watch for the fake fair catch!  play til the whistle!  i'd rather take a penalty and break their ****** necks with a big hit after a "fair catch" than let them run it back on us!

Yeah, this game won't be easily emotionally. But we have 8 days to recover which is great. UCONN isn't bad but they aren't anything close to great either. I didn't even know that Maine had a football team.
