I have not seen anyone mention that we were a winning team last year, went to UCONN in a game that we did not take seriously and they were quite happy to hand us a loss.

Really? ??? I must have missed that one.  Not that it has anything to do with this year's game but USF beat UConn 38-16 last year.  You must really be thinking of 2005. ;)  No one on the team (which is all that matters) will take this game lightly.  To even say so is silly.

This will be a dog fight IMO.

They are 6-1 (only lost was by 1 point to #18 Virginia) and they aren't ranked in the Top 25 in the coaches poll.

I'm sure they're angry (Rutgers too).

it shouldnt be

usf is much more talented than uconn

like rutgers it may come down to coaching

Yeah, this game won't be easily emotionally. But we have 8 days to recover which is great. UCONN isn't bad but they aren't anything close to great either. I didn't even know that Maine had a football team.

why not

usf should be good and pissed off

i would think usf would come out and play harder than they did against wv

uconn is a trap game... cold weather and they have their act together this year

louisville is cranky about some losses.. they will look to make a statement

cincy is no pushover either

usf can win the rest of the games... but they are very loseable too

trap game?

usf just looked bad in losing to rutgers and we have 10 days to get ready to play uconn

usf should demolish uconn

I think our offensive play calling will be adjusted since we and they know our weakness.  I see us running different running backs with Taylor and Ford getting more touches.  I also see us utilizing different Wide Receivers.
