I really want an explanation as to why and how that play was overturned. The play on the field was a friggin TD!

Horrible call that took the W away from us.

Great teams win in spite of the odds, we learned today that we are pretty good but not great.

Yep.  We could have won that game even with all the BS and mistakes.

right, because the Big East officials would love to have their premier team right now lose and make the conference look medicore. makes sense.

maybe not, but the BCS sure as hell doesnt want to "lose" money on a "small market" team possibly making it to the title game.

dont be an idiot.

BCS football is a BUSINESS.  theyre not going to make decisions that hurt their business.

Illegal forward pass is reviewable.  I believe they made the wrong call, but that is a reviewable play.

We had over a half of football to get past that and we did very little to help our cause. I am sorry but excuses are for losers, perhaps you are more comfortable with being a loser than I am but I think a lions share of the blame for losing falls on our shoulders. Like I said winners find a way to win, losers find stats and others to blame.

Winning against the odds is one thing, having a ref (potentially) throw a flag when he isn't allowed is something different. Like I said, does anyone know the rule? We don't need to make excuses... but the rule should be checked.

You can definately review an illegal forward pass it happens every Saturday. I have never seen it used in that fashion but they review if a quarterback crossed the line before passing pretty routinely. Do I think there was enough there to overturn our touchdown? No! Do I think that, that is the only thing that cost us the game? Hell no!

Crying over the refs is sore loser crap.  The refs didn't sack Grothe eight times.  USF had thier chances.  No. 2 in the nation overcome bad calls.
