I am not sure what anyone is upset about.  This is standard pre-game stuff that goes on all the time and is pretty funny stuff.

Rutgers and WVU did this last week and it was truly classic stuff.

I sent the link to this awful ECU thread to all the Bulls fans on my email list.  This is the prompt reply I received from my sister, who also sent this out to all the Bulls fans on her list.  Thought it would be a good read for all you guys......................

I got a laugh, but as I continued to scroll, the green and gold in my blood grew warmer and pumped a bit faster.  For I, and I don't doubt all of you, are proud to be a South Florida Bull and I will allow no one to diss my USF.  So here I have contributed some thoughts, please absorb them and join me in saying to ECU:

Okay...meth labs?  Perhaps we should promulgate the fact that SRI International (credited for the creation of the computer mouse & high-definition television) chose to partner with USF to build a $10 million, 30,000-square-foot technology research center, approved by Governor Bush, expected to not only create about 200 jobs, but also bring approximately $172 million to Tampa/St.Pete metropolitan area's economy.

Furthermore, USF is one the nation's top 63 public research universities as designated by the Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching.  Also, USF received more than $310 million in research contracts and grants last year, and it is ranked by the National Science Foundation as one of two of the nation's fasting growing universities in terms of federal research and development expenditures.

Speaking of disenfranchised education, may I point out to you that in a lame attempt to poke fun at our next year's OOC, the supposed word "their" was replaced with "there" completely making the gag counter-insulting.  I would be quite pissed if I spent thousands on a college education and still did not understand the difference between "there," "their," and "they're."  Must be: " The Southern Florida Smack thread..." courtesy of ECU's ENC 1101 class.

I am sorry the "pirate nation" was at such a level of unfamiliarity with the Tampa Bay area...I mean, they must not be sports fans.  They must have been watching Full Metal Jacket during the 2003 Super Bowl and must not be familiar with a little trophy I like to call the Stanley Cup.  I certainly do not apologize for not having a stadium on campus considering how young our football team is, because need I remind you...WE PLAY AT F-ING RAYMOND JAMES STADIUM, where Super Bowl champions and legends alike play!

Speaking of Full Metal Jacket, maybe if these no-talent-@ss-clowns dedicated the same time and intellect they spent on their terrible-@ss web design on excelling in academia, ECU would not be so obscure.

Don't forget the cute little kid making a #1 with its finger with a caption that reads, "How many bowl games USF played in?"  First of all, never end a sentence with a preposition.  Second of all, 1,...1 so soon in our Big East career!!!!!!!  GO BULLS!
