looks like a lot of bronson "supporters" are stoping by.

if he leaves good luck.  i think the coaching staffs focus should be more towards bringing in some position players in this recruiting class that can help us further our transition into Big east football.

if he stays he will have his best chance at playing "Major" college football.

Bronson won't be the first kicker promised a schollie by Leavitt and then not receiving it after performing. Justin Geisler got hung out to dry and was ready to walk a while back after Leavitt renigged on a schollie comment for him. Welcome to the world of big time college athletics. Coaches say what they want you to hear... gotta get this **** in writing after they say it.

Lots of things get blown out of proportion(sp?) on this board. Even jersey and helmet colors.

I guess the program making money is now considered a minor issue...

Most major programs don't have kickers on scholarship.

This is surprising if true ...........

I honestly don't understand why they keep giving these scholarships to incoming freshman when they have 2 amazing kickers already. Justin Teachey and Kyle Bronson could handle all of the kicking, so why do you need anyone else.  ???

We should only have one kicker on scholarship...period.

Sheriff, I think it is hard to say Leavitt reneged on Geisler.  Did he ever kick a field goal?  He never took the job outright.

I don't see how he could have earned it...Bronson has a better case than Geisler.  At least he seized an opportunity and did well.

But still, the scholarship is on Benzer and Leavitt seems comfortable with that.  No need to burn any additonal scholarships on kickers.

modified to correct typo

I agree but bronson has proven himself in a game with the stress and crowd factor  why loose a sure thing? We are going to need the experience next year   seems as if there may be scholars available hopefully he gets one
