I don't know about you guys, but I think a Brown, Williams, Jennings, and Reynolds group will be better than the Youngblood, Placer, Selton, and Pryor group that we just lost. The following lineup is what we often saw starting last year compared to what it could look like this year:

Placer vs Jennings

Youngblood vs Williams

Knox vs Knox

Stroud vs Stroud

Pryor vs Reynolds

In comparing the bench:

Reid vs Reid

Walker vs Walker

Hines vs Green

Miguel vs Brown

Both scenarios or any combination of both are an upgrade in my opinion.

We'll have a good ball team next year.

I get annoyed that every year is year zero in college sports now with all the turnover but i don't want to go down that rabbit hole. Just hope these guys gel quickly like we did this year and its another exciting year.

All I want as a USF fan is that we compete for a post season spot every year. Never asked for perfection. And I think we can do that next year.

Amir is the best recruiter we’ve ever had as head coach - by a wide margin. We’ll see if the new guys buy into the culture, share the ball, and shoot it clutch and consistent like this year’s bunch, but there’s no denying that the athleticism and skill is there. Exciting times.

With so many good to great experienced D1 players in the portal, it is hard to believe we even have to look at JUCO players...talent is talent though.  We could be great, we could be terrible...probably won't know until sometime in December.

UAB had a great rebuild this passed season with JUCO players. They’re best player now is a JUCO player and a NBA prospect.

Coach Amir knows what he's doing...  I feel much better about where our roster stands now.  We can definitely compete with our hungry transfers (Green, Reynolds, and Williams) who all have something to prove.

I forget, was it a lawsuit or COVID where they took away sitting for a year when transferring? If they could re-implement that and maybe an NIL rule allowing you to only get money from your first school then it could curb things.

I agree. I see USF making the Big Dance next season. Not sure how far they will go yet in the tournament.
