Shout out to FAMU for giving our transfers a home. FAMU is on its 3rd DT transfer from USF on FAMU's squad. Add in Brian Norris at LB and Jameel Sanders at CB and half the defense will be ex-UF players lol

Is that good or bad for the Famu defense? I wonder how Pinder is doing in life and football . I was high on him when he transferred here, but he never got on the field due to off-field issues. Good for all the kids to move down and still get to play college football at the FCS level.

I saw a pic of Pinder  and he definitely was hitting the gym during his time off. FCS still has plenty of FBS players that transferred there. The transfer portal raised the level of talent on that level. Its not the same FCS as it use to be.

Yeah I don't follow it as much, but have heard from that. The most I know about FAMU football is their band is always the highlight when they come to Ray Jay.

Ha! When I went to UF in the late 90s, FAMU games in Gainesville were sold out solely on seeing the band play.

Of course, the guys not producing in P5 move down to G5 for more playing time and exposure to the scouts. The guys in G5 are not producing enough to move down to FCS. Now, sometimes you do see guys transfer up to power conferences from the G5 or FCS that are very talented, but not as often.
