It is a curious move for sure.  I think maybe for personal reasons, east coast.  Don't know.  Not too far from his old place.

It wouldn’t surprise me if CARR’s agent isn’t the source just as VPMK begins extension talks with him. It’s “encouragement” to make USF dig a little deeper.

I don't know if he "turned us down" but we definitely did not name our next HC until after it was announced that he was going to VCU.

The announcements of both hirings came on the same day but there was definitely a lot of smoke out there about Odom to USF before the VCU opening ...... but doesn't matter how we got CAAR, glad we did. Biggest task in the coming months is retaining the key talent from this year's team. Something that hasn't been done here in recent memory.

looks like Louisville is the only remaining opening we need to fear about losing our coach.  Once that fills we should be safe for this year
