It seems like USF should be the implied number 5 seed, but you are right.  Not sure what the solution would be.  Guess we just need to win so we find out

For a tournament that's not a JV trophy you would think it wouldn't have to be on the subscription required streaming platform. That it would just be on one of the many ESPN family of networks.

The title of the other thread "The TBP Official In Game Thread: NIT Round 1 Bulls at #4 UCF Knights" can play tricks on the eyes.  It's NIT Round 1  ... Bulls at #4 UCF.

The top 4 seeds in the region are: 1)Villanova 2)Utah 3) Iowa 4) UCF

Brings up a good question. Only half the teams are seeded so who gets the home game in the second round between 2 unseeded teams?

usually the higher seed gets the next home game and then if you haven't had one the first 2 rounds you would get a home game in the 3rd.  But they will change the rules last minute so the P5 will get a home game

If unseeded USF beats 4 seed UCF and unseeded VCU beats 1 seed Villanova, who gets the home game in the second round?   I'm guessing it would be USF at VCU because they beat a higher seed?
