Still looks empty for fau. I thought they filled every arena they play in?

One reason to the change format. No reason to have these games in a big arena in Forth Worth.

The AAC should consider homecourt advantage for higher seeds. First of all it would provide a meaningful advantage for winning the regular season, and would provide the opportunity for more fans to attend.

The answer to all your questions is money. One charter there, one charter home for every team. Hotel arrangements can be made in advance. This year it would have been great to host a game or two but I don't see it changing.

The home of the tourney should be the team that won the previous year

Home of the tourney should be the team that won the conference. Winning the conference essentially means nothing with the conference tourney and NCAA tournament looming.

Yes! Scrolled back after my post but this for sure.

And why the **** does wveryone make the tournament? Should be the top half of conference. If you sucked all year why are you here? Not gonna lie, i think the conference tournaments are ****.

Did read somewhere that some lower level conferences have tourney games hosted at higher seeded schools ....

Funny how the talking heads on ESPN only bring up USF when they talk about how we are playing spoiler to bubble teams that didn’t even finish over .500 in their own conference.

Is there any chance FAU falls into the bubble watch if they lose tonight?

No, FAU is in.    Now sure which teams you're speaking of specifically, but most of those teams from the p6 that are considered locks would be in the same place that we are in if they were in our conference
