I don't like that we don't play for 6 days.

I think they will be super hyped up for this next game win the time comes.

The mind-blowing season continues.  A conference-leading Bulls team wins its 13th straight game when they are badly outrebounded but are handily victorious by -- GASP -- outshooting a good team.  And I just returned from a sports bar in Hickory NORTH CAROLINA (land of Tobacco Road basketball) and the feature game on the televisions was USF!

What made last Sunday's noon game more popular than this one?
1. Florida Atlantic University -> in-state game with some USF students from the Southeastern region of Florida.

2. FAU had a #24 next to their name.

3. Secured 1st place in the conference.

4. Perhaps some better marketing occurred last week.

5. More FAU fans in the crowd than SMU fans this week?

6. Intangibles.

Any other reasons anyone can think of or any pushback on my reasons?

Weather was great today compared to last Sunday. I was at the YC so to hell with the weather.  Great win for USF. FAU lost so basically USF clinched a least a share of the regular season championship

A win at Charlotte pretty much clinches the AAC regular season championship and #1 seed in AAC tournament. Wow

I hope I heard the announcer right but it sounded like he said that the SMU coach, Rob Lanier, made a comment about USF basketball in the form of “they’ve forgotten how to lose.”

Love it.

once again we get crushed in the paint (36-16), get out rebounded 45-32 (27-4 offensive boards) and give up 71 shots to our 43 and still get the W.

4 guard sets with a 5 who can shoot from the perimeter seems to be working for us.

“In my mind, I’m kind of like, ‘OK, excuses over'. We know what we need to do. We’ve got the right team together, and now we move forward, and we’ll evaluate and be accountable to each other, including myself, from this point forward.”

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."
