Just back from the game.  I still can't believe this is all happening.  Team is so gritty and good to see they could lead a game all the way and hold on.  The only sour spot was rebounding.  Energy in the YC was a bit lacking today compared to last week, but I get it.  And someone really screwed up.  There had to be 1500 empty seats in the third level.  Stopping GA sales and calling the game sold out was a mistake.  I assume sold out meant they were saving over a 1000 seats for additional students who got shut out last week?  Anyhow, this team deserved a full house today and that wasn't the case. Let's make it happen on the 5th! Still so happy for this turnaround.

A Memphis win over FAU should clinch for us at least a share of the regular season conference title. In the event of a tie, I believe all co-champs get a trophy. Tie-breakers only matter for tournament seeding.

 

Also, the 2-seed and 3-seed are in the same half-bracket, so it would be the same difference to us assuming we earn the 1-seed.

Top 30 suffocating D from Memphis, and we still ran up 45 points on them in the 2nd half.  We DESERVE a top 25 ranking now.

I don't like that we don't play for 6 days.  Need to keep the momentum going playing games.  Hoping they can keep the focus for Charlotte next Saturday.

I don't think that's an issue. The focus comes back when "tomorrow is game day". They need a rest. Football plays 1x a week and no one seems to think anyone will lose focus. It's about keeping their bodies healthy and refreshed as we wrap things up.
