Well, they distributed 10,251 tickets per the box score.  Who were the 1,500-2,000 no shows?

They may have sold the tickets but the there weren't fannies in seats in the 300 level end zone.

Well there were fannies in those seats on the 300 level it just had a lot of open seats. I am wondering a few things. Ticket scalpers were monitoring the ticket sales and brought up a lot of them in hopes of flipping them for profits. Or many of those fans decided to watch the games from other areas instead of walking up to the 300 levels. Plus the give aways & no shows.
