Memphis!

Top 10 at the time, but now no longer ranked.

I think it still counts as a win against a top 25 team.

not a quad one victory anymore

We need separate threads for the 2 notably different "MBB Rankings" .....

What I'm learning is that MBB is even more messy than CFB. Really wish the NCAA would implement some kind of regional relegation model in both sports. That would make it all way more interesting.

How is it more messy?   You have conferences.  Win your conference championship, you go to the NCAA tournament.  Easy.   Not win your conference, leave it up to the committee and some computer rankings that at least have a formula to them to help determine the better teams.

100 percent agree. You have 68 teams making it to the NCAAT; and every conference champion no matter how bad the conference is gets an automatic spot. Compare this to football where it has been the top 4 teams and now to still only 12 teams.

CBB system is not perfect but loads better than CFB

And likely to get worse before getting better.
