If a 15-5 Virginia, 3rd in the ACC, isn’t getting Top 25 votes, a 12-5 South Florida of the lowly AAC isn’t even close.    Virginia has wins over Florida (Votes), then-ranked #14 Texas A&M.

These next 4 games are huge for USF. 3 of that 4 games are on ESPN/ESPN2/ESPNU. Win all 4 and I do believe they should make their debut in the Top 25. It is all right there for USF.

Yes, I agree. We won't be ranked. The ONLY chance of MAYBE slipping in at #25 (but probably still not) is if we win out every game on the schedule and finish the regular season 24-5. If we then go on to win the conference, we MAY BE #23 or #24 at that point depending on how other teams around us do in the rankings.

That would be a great accomplishment!! Heck like some have already said before we shouldn’t put too much stock into the rankings. What matters most is that USF is winning.

Correct! But it would be another well deserved accomplishment I'd love to see -- CAAR to finish his first season as coach of USF ranked in the Top 25 with a conference championship. WOW!

This **** is so stupid. Q1 this and Q2 that.

 

If they really wanted to calculate who are the best teams right now, they shouldn't put much stock in how a team played in November. That might as well be preseason with how new teams are nowadays. 

 

Who are the teams that are winning their conference and are playing like top teams?

If we can win the next four we will probably get votes but we won’t be ranked. We do have to beat FAU if we want a at large bid. If we can some how win out the rest of the games I think it’s a lock to get a NCAA bid, even if we lose one it should be ok.We have to beat FAU though to have a quality win and hopefully Memphis plays better to make that win look better.
