And I did talk to a few people or so back in November that said they were planning to attend the USF game when they are playing FAU. Some had kids that are students at FAU & some want to see how USF does against a final 4 team from last season. I do believe USF gets at least 8k if not a sellout. We shall see!!

Of course. I’m always trying to stir the pot to help sway things in the right direction for USF. Hopefully we see two top 25 teams battling it out before a sold out YC on ESPN

0% chance usf is in the top 25

50% chance FAU is

It should definitely be our largest crowd this year, and maybe if we both don't lose again until then we get to 6K. Would love for you to be right and me wrong. I just think the noon Sunday game time isn't going to help ..... although we did have our largest crowd so far at a 2 PM Sunday game.

I hate to say it, but no chance of a sell out.

Sell out would need to be Saturday night, against an opponent who is top 10, and with a large tradional fan base with a huge local presence. (UF and FSU)

The crowds will keep getting better, and hopefully we will have a nice crowd for that game, but we aren't in the sellout range.

I may be a year or so too early regarding my crowd expectations. Hopefully USF keeps winning and eventually we should start seeing some sellouts like we did back in the Seth Greenberg era. He had some sell outs I believe against Cincy & UF. Had a lot of crowds in the 7k - 8k range too. Fun times even though they fell short of the NCAA’s.

Fau game should be close to a sellout if usf continues to win games up till then.

It also might help if there is no parade, 24 hours of Daytona, or wrestling hoopla going on at the same time. Although the Daytona 500 will be here soon.

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."
