We had a few True Freshman play this year and some started, do we expect some Freshman, True or RS to contribute in 2024?

It wouldn't surprise me to see a FR lineman or DB.  Someone good can step into those positions, even FR.  However, seems like Coach is building for long term (the right way), so necessity will dictate whether he has the time to hold a good FR out.

Think we had OL and WR's play in 2023.

I was just about to say the same thing. I expect to see some true freshmen play on defense. On offense we may we a true freshmen rb, linemen fill in, or wr step up. All the returning players on offense from last year have a huge advtange running the GO GO GOLESH offense.

Echols will likely play. He was in on some of the bowl practices, so his learning curve for the offense won't be as steep as some kids coming in for fall. Don't know if Jey'Quan Smith's redshirt was burned this year or not. Saw him get a few snaps in at the end of the bowl game. He's a dude I'm watching for next season. Kid can flat out run.

Golesh is going to rely heavily on recruiting and developing over portal shopping. So, I think we see most if not all true freshman redshirt unless necessity dictates they play.

Only Participated in 2 games so redshirt should be intact.

Correct.  He's building a foundation.  Need guys that want to be here, and want to stay here.  Shuttling players in and out will not meet his stated goals.

I was going to say the same thing. I think some of these freshman D-linemen are going to see the field this year. Too much talent to redshirt them all.

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."
