It didn't sound like the supply chain was the only issue for the delay.  

$6mil gift from USF Federal Credit Union to name "Champions Way".  Maps show this with be the entry pathway to the stadium just north of the track stadium from Genshaft Drive

Me too. Granted, I don't work in the stadium building industry, but I do not let my suppliers use that excuse anymore. 
But hey, I'll take "delayed" over "canceled."
