What thought should he have beyond it didn’t have to be this way? All things considered i think he has been quite gracious. It could have been 14 years of never ending which is quite frankly all that he owes us. Our administration has done nothing but fail us. They continue to do nothing but fail us and while CJL is watching UCF beat the breaks off of a top 15 team in the B12 we are middling in obscurity in the third or fourth version of the aac playing with mostly sunbelt level teams hoping that an OCS will somehow miraculously fix the woes that are them and their vision.  Any original thought he could have wouldn’t have been appreciated because there is absolutely nothing nice to say about these disgusting embarrassing failures.

I mean, the difference is the ceiling of the two programs. UCF's ceiling is playing for national championships and national relevance. With the lsat round of realignment, the sentiment is that we could be permanently relegated to a novelty product. Now we can work to be the best novelty product out there, but unless we get into a conference with some real money quickly, our ceiling will remain pretty low.

If a company I busted my ass for fired me I'd probably troll them too. Or want to. 

That's what this is. There is literally no reason to drag USF into context. Just say wow great game and environment. 

It's lazy at best, a troll at worst. I was pro honoring CJL once but more and more I'm neutral. We can appreciate what he did when he did it while recognizing we have all just moved on and let him take his jabs while we keep climbing.
