We should never score 42 points and lose, let alone by more than 2 touchdowns. This is embarrassing. 1

Golesh needs to make some upgrades to the defensive staff. Brown is a solid young QB & we’re wasting his career with inadequate defensive staff. I feel like our Safeties are atrocious.

Even Cosh was better than Woody or Orlando. It’s all hot garbage 1
pascobull Posted November 4, 2023 Group: Member Topic Count: 5 Content Count: 848 Reputation: 226 Days Won: 1 Joined: 08/03/2011 Share Posted November 4, 2023 I'm content to Keep firing these DCs until we hire one that doesn't give up 56+ points every other game...I know the players aren't the '85 bears far from it but this can't be the best we can do to condition and prepare these kids. Todd's gotta go.

This defensive coaching staff and players should be absolutely embarrassed by their play, it is beyond pathetic. 2

I’ve coached against and schemed against his defenses, and I am beyond excited that I don’t have to any more. He’ll be aggressive, he’ll be intense, and we’re going to have a blast on defense.” How it’s going: Giving up 48ppg since October

Sure, he may be a bit too aggressive in some situations, but the fact is that the team is lacking talent on D. Our front 4 is incapable of getting pressure, hell even under blitz packages they lack pressure. Our secondary lacks talent to play man to man, hence the gaping holes due to zone coverage. It’s either get burnt over the top, or play soft secondary and pray the rushers force mayhem or stop the run. This D needs depth, talent and time. We have seen that they are better coached this year just by looking at open field tackling. I’m excited for the future, and understand we aren’t going to have it this season.
