Anyone very scared for UAB?

Really scared. That 1 win they have over NC A&T was truly impressive. Considering that win and this being a classic trap game the week before playing juggernaut and long term rival FAU, no chance the Bulls can win.

Taking them lightly and not being very scared of them aren’t in the same ball park, they aren’t even playing the same game

It might sound like just a slogan to us but the “Next Play Mentality” is real for this staff and these players. Additionally, they all seem to have bought into the going 1-0 mentality as well. I don’t EVER see or hear about any of the players or staff talking about the future. They take each game 1 week at a time and win that game before moving on. There are no trap games when you prepare for each individual opponent with its own unique process each week before moving forward to the next. I don’t believe it is possible when all the players are on the same page about that and the staff doesn’t allow it to happen.

We can lose to pretty much anyone.  I don't know about scared but very few teams play well every week and we aren't so good that we can count on winning without playing well. 

Goach has done a good job with the next play mentality.  The guys are moving on from bad plays.  But that goes both ways, they can't get caught up in successes either and that is its own challenge especially for a team that hasn't had much success in previous years.

With as bad as we’ve been for the last 4 years, we shouldn’t take any team lightly but there’s no reason to be more scared of UAB than of Rice or Navy.

Scared hell. Golesh is going to have them boys ready to kick ass and chew bubble gum. Rumor is golesh has banned gum. I think we win but maybe a nail biter.
