With the WRs struggles in first three games, I wonder why we haven’t seen

Seth Jones

Jaden Alexis

or some of the freshmen like

JeyQuan Smith a speedster for slot.

Keshawn Singleton, Javon Thomas, Tyree Kelly all bigger receivers

If I had to guess he is probably saving the true freshmen's  games until the last four games or when he needs them due to injuries. I am not sure about Javon Thomas because I believe he is  redshirt sophmore. I think Alexis got out there a few times but didnt do much. Seth Jones has not shown any  either .So far all of them baylor transfers really haven't worked our Jones, Terry, and GB.

Just my conjecture, but maybe he is giving them more time to develop and observe. OOC games are kind of throw away games anyway. Hopefully he is holding them to play them when it counts a little more. These guys only get a few games to play so why waste it on bragging rights in a situation that might hurt their confidence, especially vs Bama. Let them get comfortable with changes to the game and with the process and put them in position to gain experience and confidence going forward. Hopefully we will see them when we really need them.

as for the transfers…. They transferred for a reason. Some of them just don’t have the chops and others need someone who can unlock their potential

I wish we saw more TE getting involved. Littlejohn Greenwald and Wolff are ballers.

Yes!  More short passes to TEs in stride.  They had ample opportunity to throw to them with distanced or no coverage vs Bama.

I’m pretty much convinced that’s not gonna happen.

Weird thing is CAG was a TE coach for 10+ years. Clearly he will get them more involved at some point right?

Maybe.  Let’s hope.  I think they’re blockers (that’s okay) not receiver/difference makers.

Wholly my opinion.  I just think hoping for them to be a part of the offense is gonna disappoint you.
