Next weeks showing will tell us if we are on the right track.  Need to beat them with a vengeance.  Don’t come out flat.

Lets see if Golesh can have this team actually turn a corner. I loved his post game interview. He gets it. Winners win and losers lose. There are no moral victories. I am proud of the Bulls yesterday but we didn't win a winnable game. Ironically he is an offensive coach and the offense failed USF. The defense played their rears off.

The defense is on point.  The offense needs work.

Horn and Weaver looked great last night in their CO win. This portal era sucks. We could have really used two star WR last night.

I feel that we could have been undefeated with a victory over Alabama had we had our **** together. Unfortunately with 50 new players, this team needs time to get on the same page. Out of our 2 losses I never felt we were overmatched. We have seen Byrum throw accurate passes. Most thought his running was questionable and that part is great. Once he gets jis throwing rhythm back we are going to kick some a.$$.

Winning this conference consistently sounds like a fate worse than death

You may not like it, I get that, but that's all we have now.

The real question is do we improve and adjust.  And I think the attitude right now is they're not going to just do nothing.

CAG knows he made mistakes and is learning from them. Let's hope he takes these experiences and continues to adjust the offense to help the players succeed and not run the same schemes waiting for them to work.

I mean I’m not opposed to winning, just thinking out loud that right now we can pretend that’s holding us back but if we win championship after championship here that’s just not going to work for me. Get out that’s all I care about. Don’t care how, I want it now.

Alright. Let's win it a couple times and if we don't move up, then we move out. At that point, once we are relevant again, i could see the independent thing being more sustainable. We would need one hell of a schedule negotiator though.

Yeah, only area of excitement to get out of conference play going forward is to dominate, win it, and move on. Nobody in our conference is going to generate the buzz to sell out Ray j or get casual fans through the turnstiles.

You say that after the fact.  Did you say it pre-game?

Nope.  As I said I am proud of them for playing hard.  The offense was nonexistent but the defense looked great. Golesh has a lot of work to do on offense. I hope to see more motion on offense, rollout, short and medium passing, improved receiver play, and an improved passing game.

I think winning this conference is not very far out of reach…will we get the trophy this year? Perhaps not, but soon? I think so!
