The crowd looked great watching the game on my laptop. The fans are doing their part. Having watched other AAC teams over the last few seasons ( Temple, Tulsa, and even SMU), and their stadiums always look empty.

It's something I am sure Power 4 conferences are aware of. If we draw great crowds when we are bad against FAMU, can you imagine what our crowds will look like in an OCS when we are winning again?

Imagine the crowds if we played in a power conference and were winning? Oh wait we already did that and the place was rocking with 50,000 plus fans consistently, but Judy had to fire Leavitt withy no real plan to improve USF Football. Her long-term strategy was clear spend as little as possible on athletics(neglect)  for academics. Now we are stuck here at rock bottom of FBS football cleaning up the disaster the board and her  left behind when she sailed into the sunset.

I don't see attendance getting much better until we are playing schools people have heard of at home. These games don't really matter except we hope to win them so we don't have to pay these teams in the future.

We are number 2 for a week again but this time it is in the AAC. I bet next week we are number one in attendance.

Wow.  Temple comes in last.  I had no idea.  12,500 tickets in a pro stadium, and I'm sure not that many showed up.  That crowd makes ours look really good in comparison.

Semi related - did they move the cameras back to the west side this year or had it changed previously?

After watching a lot of games, I think the folks estimating attendance are the same people who estimate crowds for whatever is the protest du jour.

We should be able to sell out the new stadium and create a demand for tickets.

It will be interesting to see if the new stadium will have one open grassy  end zone area that could accommodate extra students to game.

I’m hoping for this. Hoping the 35k number is for “seats” but the capacity could go higher than that.  It makes sense to do it that way.

Yeah an overflow berm for students would solve some of this.
