It's called a hedge. You will really be kicking yourself when USF goes 13-0 and Alabama gets a rematch in the semifinal of the CFP. Just imagine the cost of tickets for 2024 when that happens! Get ahead of the curve.

You know what?  If that happens they've earned the higher price anyway.  Still safer to wait.

Just days before the season starts they want us to auto renew tickets for next year.  I'll take my chances and wait until the season is over. If there is 1 win again, as someone in another thread said:

That is hella aggressive to  auto renew after our three worst seasons, before we play a single down with our entirely brand new roster and coaches, and while we get shafted again in realignment.

I’m really not sure what all the fuss is about. If you want to wait to renew, just opt out of the auto renewal. For those of us who want to maintain our season tickets it is a fantastic way to spread the cost out over several months.

The auto renewal also locks your price in if I remember correctly. It seems silly to complain about something that you have complete control over. IMHO.

Hopefully the slappys in front of us that sell their tickets to every game don't auto-renew this year so I can finally buy them up.  Getting tired of opposing team fans sitting there while I can't grab those two for my kids to sit in front of us.

It locks in your price. Renewing in full in November does as well.

If you opt out and are looking to pay in full, then the renewal deadline is typically the same day as the February National Signing Day (February 7, 2024, I believe). If that changes, the I am sure it will mentioned to all of the opt out accounts multiple times.

Just so we're clear, you don't have to renew before the season's over to retain your seats for next year ....

Sweet!

If one of those is 'bama, yes, I'm in. Although I have no idea how many, if any, games we'll get to this year.
