How long was he “committed” - a week? As soon as a bigger offer came around . . .

Three weeks exactly. They shouldn't even be allowed to commit until a year out ....... although, this kid committed June 2022 for 2024 and we still appear to have him. Will probably depend, though, on how he does this season, and what our qb room looks like, whether we keep him.

Welcome to the new normal because of NIL money. I don't take much into the recruits until they actual sign and then make it to campus. it is almost as good as the guy that said he was like 300% committed then changed his mind.

Given CAG's attitude and what he is trying to build here, I am glad to jettison any recruit that isn't willing to keep their word. One high 3 star or even a 4 star is not going to be such a difference maker for this team. We just need to continue to build and trust the process.
