I agree, I just don't like it. I find these facts very inconvienent.

I’m just hoping the team is fun to watch this year. The Gulf Coast Offense was some of the  most enjoyable football I’ve seen from us. I want to get back to that. No more ‘Clemson progrum culture’ nonsense or Sleepy Charlie bull. Need some energy. The level of competition has fallen so much in the past decade, we better be able to claw our way to the top of the conference.

Golesh is energy spelled backwards. He brings it. I think we’ll see better effort and competiveness.  He seems like a leader.  The last two we’ve had failed there.

We're bad until we're not. We've been in the bottom 25 or so of FBS teams for five seasons. We're 4-33 since late 2019. We're bringing in a new HC with no experience. What respect have we earned? WKU is 27-17 since that timeframe with multiple bowl wins. UTSA is 30-13 with 2 conference championships. They do have superior teams.

UTSA's stadium holds 67,000 people and UAB's stadium holds 47,100. So one could hold 20.000 more than the other.

Protective Stadium Birmingham UAB gameday parking, tailgating, traffic UAB 47,100

UTSA  67,000

This.
We should have the highest recruiting classes among our G5 peers along with a much stronger fanbase. Hopefully the OCS puts us on that course.

Our biggest problem should be keeping winning coaches, not getting conference wins.

Trick question. Alamo Dome isn't on their campus. From what I read its across from one of their satellite campuses.
