In the long run programs have up and down time.

We were up and got the Big East, next round of changes came and we were down, so we got demoted. There are more good days and bad days ahead for both USF and UCF. It is really just about luck and timing to be up when it matters.

Just gimme some truth.  Saw CT last night at the new Sound in Clearwater.  Will be a great venue for concerts and I recommend sitting in a seat under the cover as the lawn seems a bit flat with a not so great view.  Enjoy!

Maybe we become the second public university to claim we won a national championship in Florida since we just became the second public AAU university in Florida.

You must first go undefeated (as in win Every single game) and have the NCAA recognize your school as a National Champion. Once you do both, you may claim it.

So giving up what? $40 million/year (?) is worth being the tallest midget and hoping not to get annihilated as a G5 seed?

For more like $43 million every single year and every sane G5 school making smart decisions, the answer is a resounding Yes!

I would call their last 5 seasons successful compared to our last 5 seasons. I don't want to post a comparison of the win loss records because it is just sad and embarrassing at this point to compare them. Time to step up and win or find an AD that values winning to  help create  and sustain  a winning football program again. Harlan and Leroy Selmon valued winning and committing to winning . Sadly they both moved on in different ways.

More like a decade…..Winning solves everything….

UCF has concluded its 10-year tenure in the American Athletic Conference, and during that decade the Knights won more...

Of course.  We have a Big12-denier on board.  😂

interview everyone from BOT to coach and ask them how are they going to be changing all those bad decisions and moves going forward.

You'll pardon me if I don't slide all of my chips on that happening.

You forgot to include the $43 million difference in revenue every year through 2031 in your quote. That’s a lot of $$$ in facilities upgrades to help with recruiting.

I get it, It’s difficult to admit it, but even your college administration and board would gladly accept where UCF is and not turn that enormous difference in 10s of millions of $$$$ annually down due to blind pride.

UCF will be competitive on the field immediately. It’s what UCF does. Within  a few years, UCF will have facilities and resources exceeding its Power 5 peers.   Facilities help recruiting, which helps winning, which generates $$$ feeding the program.  Isn’t that why you’re now following UCF’s winning blueprint and finally building a stadium? At least your admin finally admits and recognizes the error of their ways.

What’s wrong? Can’t read a dissenting post or newspaper article without calling for daddy to ban someone refuting your post?
