I figured I’d get here late and some UCF fans would have invaded this topic.

That said, aside from the shot at the end, the article is fair. I think most topic related posts from 2009-2014 reflected these concerns. My comparison was more Cincinnati who was in our conference and were all in on the arms race back then. That said Houston and UCF were doing the same things and continued to do it when they entered the Big East/AAC.

We got conceited with our quick rise, and couldn’t put into place what was needed to continue it. 

the current admin looks like they’re changing that. Let’s become the best team in the AAC, have a shot at the playoff and go from there.

Cmon man, lets be serious. UCF has how many conference titles? How many major bowl wins? I would take UCF's entire Athletic program over ours in a second. Nobody gives a **** that we almost beat them.
