I think the Annual Fund was the highest priority and is where we directed our contributions.  As John knows, we'll adjust as the priorities do.

Making life a little easier - have a desire to help out?  A link to the Stadium Fund now sits atop our OCS Countup on the main page.  Early and often, early and often.  Link below part of an image....

Will was ballsy announcing this at the time of the IPF groundbreaking (I think it was) and caught me off guard.  Big balls.  And then John Lewis basically said believe it, it's happening.  A lot of naysayers along the way, myself one of them.  I've been giving since (and before then) but calling all Bulls (and Bull wannabes) to get over there and start being a part of this new stadium.

PLEASE GIVE to the STADIUM FUND

it rarely makes  economic sense to build most stadiums

there are so many intangible benefits to the community

I've been in the minority on here about an OCS all along. Seems like a lot of money to me. If they are going to build one I guess you may as well go all in and build a nice one. But I've been to games at SMU, Tulane, Memphis and to a lesser extent ECU where the stands are empty when the teams stink. Don't remember if the bond payments are every 6 months or yearly but that's a lot of beer and hot dogs to pay your $200m over 20 years. I know there are tickets, advertising, etc.  I'm just pretty conservative financially. Other than houses I've never borrowed for cars or anything else. When we save up enough money then we'll buy stuff.  Old school thinking who learned from parents that went through the Depression I guess.

Richie, I would have the USF folks put it on their Greenlight credit card to build their credit score and teach them about practical economics.  Oh Happy Days!

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.

“In my mind, I’m kind of like, ‘OK, excuses over'. We know what we need to do. We’ve got the right team together, and now we move forward, and we’ll evaluate and be accountable to each other, including myself, from this point forward.”
