This team drives me crazy!  Don’t follow them closely, but my understanding is that our pitching is terrible, yet our hitting is the best it’s been in years.  We have 5 players that get post season recognition, yet we had the worst regular season record.

Thoroughly enjoyed watching the stats at work this afternoon. Great win, especially against Oviedo State.

The 4th inning vs. Miami up in Gainesville a couple of years ago is on my top 10 USF athletics list.  Do I dare hope that another trip to the Regionals could happen? Don’t want to jinx it..

I know many of you attend more games than I do, but how many games did our defense cost us this season? 

I seem to recall many times when we were in close games that errors cost us dearly.

We got around the bad one yesterday and played sound after that.

ACC has a different format too.  4 pools of 3 teams each.  Round robin in each pool.  Each pool winner makes it to the semifinals Saturday and the winners on Saturday play in the championship game Sunday.

ACC is going to be a very tough baseball conference for USF if things go our way….

Thought that wording would be gone like the diabled list in MLB.

 

The politically correct crowd prob would prefer a name like the We did not win, but we tried hard bracket

Lol good one. Makes me wonder why they even bother keep track of a pitcher’s W/L records. A pitcher can pitch 5 innings yet still get the W even though they give up over 10 runs. To me the ERA is a better stat
