6'10 point guard? 🤔 😎 Let's do this!

He moves and plays like an NBA style player. Of course, we don't get to see any of his bad highlights (turnovers, missed shots, etc.), but I'm all in on this guy as a Bull for sure! 🤘

A solid signing though there wasn't much defense being played on that highlight video.  As I understand the KSU players, he should fit it well with that style of play - get up and down the floor with pace.  Looking forward to seeing where the roster stands after the portal closes on May 11.  Hopefully, the new coaching staff can finish strong.  Tchewa may not be ideal but I'd take his 12 and 8 any day - and I'm not sure what offense the coach will install but Tchewa could/should/would set some mean picks.

Good pickup. Wonder though why his stats were so bad before JUCO at Boise State.

Does have potential though, and players sometimes do improve drastically from year to year. besides Youngblood, Stroud, probably our best pickup so far. Still remains to be seen how he transitions from JUCO to AAC.

However, if we want to be above .500 next year we need find the next Tyler Harris. I don't see anyone on the roster with that type of potential, but maybe I am wrong. Recruiting still feels subpar to me so far. The same with football, besides the last day of HS recruiting when we got those two studs.

Probably a combination of competition, in comparison to JUCO, and just not being there yet. Hopefully, we reap some benefits ....

Not to be overlooked . . .

Free throw percentages last year for our newcomers:

Chris Youngblood = 82%

Kasean Pryor = 80%

Kasen Jennings = 79%

Jose Placer = 76%

Odd man out is Brandon Stroud at 53%

Daniel Tobiloba = ?

Looks pretty good that we could sign Kobe Knox, too and he was 65%

that alone will make me happy. When was the last time we had a team that could hit their FT's?

In his junior year Tobiloba shot 32.1% (26/81). He improved on that his senior season to 51.1% (23/45). Fluke or is he improving his shot? I think the latter; and if so, it would be a great sign.

Over his career, Placer is better than 76%. He was 80.6%, 76.6%, 86.9%, and 76.4% his first 4 years.

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.

“This is not a broken football program by any means. It just needs to be united, to get everybody on the same page, share that same vision, and really to have that standard - best is the standard.”
