The USF Rugby Club were seen as the underdogs by The Sideline Whisperer, which predicted that they would get blown out 40-17 by UF in the FCC semifinal on April...

Interesting comment in the article. The PLAYERS wanted to get better so the PLAYERS called/texted each other to go to the gym or practice in their off days.

Leadership is a powerful thing when it’s your peers leading.

Maybe we can get them to go over and work with the football team's D on tackling.

CAG has mentioned in several interviews that he wants his team to hold each other accountable and be self-motivated.

I'd be curious to see how many of the USF rugby players would have enough talent to actually play at USF (football that is). If we had one player at a minimum, that would be one more than I would expect (it's an entirely different ball game). Now would I want to get in a street fight with anyone playing rugby? Hell no.

A different type of toughness for sure to play rugby... however the athleticism you see on a D1 football roster combined with Newton's Second Law of Motion is what differentiates a D1 football team from a club team playing rugby. Go Bulls either way...

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."
