For what it’s worth, I see our club hockey team also played at Oviedo on Friday and home vs. them on Saturday. Ice Bulls won both, 3-2 and 10-0. I’ll take it.

The USF women utterly dominated UCF. They won in every statistical category. The scary part for the rest of the AAC is that they could have played even better. Still had 14 turnovers. If they can find a way to clean that up they can be a Sweet 16 squad. Glad that this was my 4 year old's first basketball game!

I know our buddy Trip doesn't care about the Central rivalry but it was really sweet kicking their arse in both games this weekend.

I do care to the point that I prefer us kicking their arse to the reverse ..... Anything that shuts up their ******** fans is a good thing.

Let me call out c's WBB coach. We are up around 30, Jose mercifully empties our bench, and c decides its time to start trapping and pressing. We take a step to limit their humiliation and they play different than they did the whole game to try to make our bench look bad. It is a bad look. I sort of miss Willie Taggart, this is exactly the sort of thing that would make him run up the score.

I don't know, Mike. That could also be her playing until the horn blows. They're still trying to score as many baskets as they can and if she thought that was the best way to do it, you do it ....... even better that our ladies handled it, though.

Trip - true if they had been pressing or trapping all game, but they did very little of it, until the last 4 minutes, where they did it every possession they could (long rebounds where we got up court before they could get into the trap was the exception). I'll eventually ask coach if I am crazy on this, but it had the feel of a lack of appreciation that we decided we weren't going to win by 50 and we were nice to them. 

I could be wrong, but that is how I saw it.

Maybe coach was just giving everybody on the bench a chance to play and participate in the fun of the at home humiliation of C in front of a decent crowd.
