I wonder how much weight is on that bar ? He is  big boy and hopefully is packing on some power and mass. Based of his facial expression I assume he is lifting pretty heavy.

That really depends on the bar. An elephant bar will begin to bend with probably 405 or so on. A stiff bar will hold its shape until the low 700s. Elephant bars are designed to bend so the weight being lifted is more gradual whereas stiff bars are designed so the motion is completed all at once.

I know how bars work but some people may not. I am assuming they are using  Texas power bars or something similar  because most FBS programs use them. I have my own gym and honestly seeing the  weight the players were lifting the last few years was concerning. I have seen some hype clips from other programs and those fellas are moving much more weight effective and their size and strength shows.

The best is to hit both bars just not necessarily at the same time. Not going to lie though one good thing about owning a nice home gym is after you are done pumping some iron, you can relax with an ice cold beer after the shake or workout and watch football and hockey.

Here are our running backs. I only recognize  Joiner, Yasias Young, Kenny Walker, K'wan Powel, and Nayquan Wright in this picture. I think that's Michael Dukes on the left. By the way, Joiner looks like he is closer to 200Ibs now. I think the era of sub-200Ib RBs is done. Golesh is a man that has a standard for the size of his players. I think we will get waaay more first-downs this year.

RB Nay'Quan Wright (UF) Joiner, Kelley JR K'wan Powell Dominic Gonnella (FCS - SDSU/PWO) Jaylen Johnson Yasias Young Kenny Walker ³
