He has no experience and this reeks of penny pinching. Ten+ years of playing and coaching the position isn't enough experience for you?

Being made an on field coach in the SEC within 5 years after playing is pretty impressive

Playing college football a few ago and being a GA isn't exactly a stuffed resume, frankly it is no resume at all. Golesh basically hired an intern to be his oline coach. It is just a cheap move, plain and simple

I'm fine with former UCF coaches being hired, but not graduates. This is a red flag that Golesh doesn't seem to understand this.

He sat in the box with Golesh the last 2 years and understands football at a high level. Although he might’ve been a GA I get the feeling he was performing duties much beyond that

Yeah don’t think you’re going to pull two veteran coaches from Alabama and Duke. Both started as GA’s and quickly have had nice careers. Trust the process and hopefully a mix of young hungry coaches and a few veterans can turn this program around.

Why do you say that? Lack of experience? We had a QB Coach in 2016 that was a first time college coach. Minimal coaching experience at all when he was hired. He was a HS assistant for two years back in 2006 and 2008 then a 7 on 7 coach for a year before USF. This dude is in his 4th year coaching a position he played in college. He was the Assistant OL Coach for the top rated offense in college football. I think we will be fine.
