I know it might have helped move things forward a bit quicker, but glad we don't have all the distractions that come with DS.

It would have been an instant return to  relevance, he comes with baggage but would have been worth it even though he is an arrogant ass IMO.

A lot of this is cope.  Some would have definitely been turned off by the antics, but most would be excited about top recruits, winning, and selling tickets.

Antics and excitement for a year or two and then gone.  

I'd be most afraid that sooner or later his ego is going to violate NCAA regs or piss off the admin and donors.
