Wouldn’t mind spending some money on someone like Randy Shannon to be DC and Assistant Head Coach.

Jim Leavitt as our DC would fun!!!  A Golesh / Leavitt ticket would be fun and could be a winning combination.

Of course and would build a ton of excitement because we would know the defense is coming back.  This means that it won't happen.

Also would have a coach in waiting if this guy doesn't get it done.

Yes and it would put someone on staff who had a successful tenure as a head coach.  USF is not in the position to have someone learn on the job.  Too much money at stake all around; coach buy-out, stadium, media payouts. NIL, etc.

Problem solved!!!!

"As defensive coordinator and linebackers coach at USF, Jean-Mary's units were consistently among the nation's best in turnovers created, tackles for loss and pass defense. In his first year, USF was top 25 nationally in six categories, including sacks per game (3.0, 11th) and interceptions (20, second). The Bulls led The American Conference in total defense (359.8) and scoring defense (21.5 points per game), improving from 120th in total defense and 92nd in scoring defense to 37th and 41st, respectively, after Jean-Mary's arrival."

I think the hatred for CCS was so strong (no pun intended) that BJM accomplishments was greatly overlooked. I think he had a better defense than Tom Allen's bullsharks.

The question is would BJM come back to USF? I thought he was good for USF but why would he do this again here?

Hmm I am interested in this comparison.  I am definitely in that camp.
