the american conference will not have an automatic bid

the p5 champs and runner ups will get fisrt 10 spots

Top ranked G5 conference champion has auto spot.

The top four conference champions would be ranked 1-4 and receive the bye. The final two guaranteed spots will be the next two highest ranked conference champions, which guarantees a spot for the highest ranked group of five team, regardless of ranking.

The runners up won't necessarily get bids - notice in this example the ACC and Big 12 only have one team each - the same as the AAC.

So in other words we can see one of the P5 not have their champ qualify for the top 6 rated conferences in they rate the conferences fair lol

But you'll have to subscribe to ESPN ++ to see the SEC Tournament leading up to select the 5 SEC teams.

Dax Shepard Money GIFEvery team that leaves to be a punching bag in a P5 conference.

I have this discussion with my father-in-law all the time. He's a West Virginia grad and a rabid fan. In the Big East they were playing and winning BIG New Year's Day bowl games against Oklahoma and Georgia. In the Big XII, he always says "But look how much money we're making!" Then I ask him what his personal cut is . . . as they sit home during bowl season. The school is making big money, but his fan experience has gone steadily downhill.

Well the press has to get Alabama in the playoffs somehow.   It was either expanding the playoffs or the extreme route of "Marshalling" an entire football team ranked above Alabama.

So should we ask UCF'ers the same question in a few years?

Now all we have to do is find a coach and field a team capable of more than 1/3 of an FBS win per season..

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
