I don’t see a substantive amount of chatter about Chadwell, seems like this is where we’re headed IMHO

Agreed, why has the trail gone cold with Chadwell? We are a much better job than Liberty and if we were willing to spend on Deion, let’s not go cheap and screw ourselves; we still need the best coach we can get regardless of price.

What if we don't think Chadwell is worth Deion prices?

Feels like we can get a Chadwell-level hire without the Sanders-level prices

I wasn’t implying paying him 5-7 mil a year, but why not go 3.5 mil if he is the best coach out there. We’ve paid coaches 2 mil and look where we are at. Maybe giving more, getting better, they’ll stay for a bit as well if they’re successful.

True.  At least he has HC experience.

I have no interest at all in the religious affiliation of anyone associated with our football program. Matters not to me who they pray to.

Matters to me.

Exactly, I like how he has experience building a small program to mid major success. He has done well recruiting and still coaching his guys up. @bullonihad a good break down of his recruiting and conference record that shows his success against his peers, which was good. Next I would look at Dan Mullen, maybe his last year was a fluke?
