According to sources, the deal was 90 percent done.  He had basically agreed to everything and was just working out the contract.

We were either lied to or MK bungled this search more than any AD in history.  One or the other happened.

I think most of us understand we can only offer so much, and then it’s up to him to accept it. I think most of us (at least this is how I feel) thought with Deion there would be excitement brought back to USF football. Now we are going to see 1/2 our team leave in the portal, and bring in a coach that can’t pull in the players Deion would have. Now we have to sit through a couple more crap years and hope to eventually not suck. We are all just tired of losing.
